Welcome and thanks for visiting! I am wrapping up a rather memorable 2012 that started with a show at the Grass Valley Wine Co. that opened 2 weeks before cancer surgery. 4 months later, I dragged myself out to the Marin Headlands to photograph the "supermoon" rising behind the Golden Gate Bridge. 6 months of chemotherapy followed with a 5-day distraction of an epic photography road-trip through the desert southwest (planned out while recovering from surgery). My wife and I celebrated the end of chemo treatments with a trip to Kauai.
So, the most physically and emotionally difficult year of my life ended up being relatively successful photographically. Take a look at my favorites from this year and may everyone have a happy and healthy 2013.
